DESS^® Dental Cobalt Chrome Bases are manufactured from a micro-milled cobalt chrome alloy with a sanitary POM castable and include the final screw. They are the perfect component for traditional casting techniques. With a higher melting point, they will maintain the precision of the shape when melting with other metals.

With the included castable, modeling work can be carried out directly on the assembly, casting on a small scale to produce crowns ready for porcelain application, while retaining a reliable implant connection.

We have available engaging and non-engaging versions for different implant platforms, as well as various gingival heights. Depending on the restoration, single or multiple prostheses can be obtained. These cobalt chrome bases can be used in both implant-level and abutment-level restorations (on multi-unit).
